I’ve made up stories since I was a little girl, telling them to myself out loud, which is absolutely totally normal behaviour. Eventually I started writing them down, more often than not based on conflicts where I’d wussed out in real life but on the page could say the things I wish I’d said.

I LOVE a Happily Ever After because ambigious endings drive me nuts. I believe that love and humour go hand in hand, so that’s what I write.

I’m a mum of four teens and I write while they’re in school. I live in the UK, but was born to Danish parents, hence the name (It’s pronounced Pernilla). Besides the words, my ever-so-glamorous working week centres around laundry, ironing, Tesco and Pilates. Reading and Twitter fills any gaps in between.

Sweatpants At Tiffanie’s is my first novel. If you read it and enjoy it , please please leave me a review on Amazon. It doesn’t need to be long, or 5 stars (but that would be delightful) and you don’t have to have bought it yourself. If you borrowed the book from a library, please leave a review on the library website, so others can find my books too! Reviews are super helpful to authors, especially newbies like me.
